2019 Old Vine Zinfandel
As steam puffs out of its chimney, the 1880 Train snakes along its historic rail line between between Hill City and Keystone in the Black Hills of South Dakota. This classic route honors the influence of the railroad on the region and continues as a reminder of the railway's part in the creation of today's Black Hills.
Much like the 1880 Train, the hundred year old vines that produced these Zinfandel grapes snaked their roots deep into the ground seeking the nutrients from the soil. The result is a complex wine with elements of both fruit and earth in the glass and on the palate
