2021 Pinot Noir

The Ring-necked Pheasant is the state bird of South Dakota and one of only three state birds in the nation that is not a species native to the United States. It is abundant in the state and in the Black Hills. 
Known for its beauty and grace, the pheasant is lovely and gentle, similar to this Pinot Noir. Wines made from the Pinot Noir grape are known for being delicate yet complex on both the nose and the palate, while showing notes of red fruit and earth. Their soft tannins pair well with salmon, pheasant, and pork.
