2020 West Bank

In Bordeaux, France, the major wine regions are divided by the Gironde River. This river divides the larger region into smaller, unique regions: the Left Bank and the Right Bank. South Dakota is also divided by a river, The Missouri. This natural waterway splits the state into two distinct areas, West River and East River.
Only five noble grapes are allowed in Bordeaux blend wines. Our West Bank is a blend of four of these. The West Bank is an homage to both the prestigious Bordeaux region and to South Dakota’s own Left Bank—West River.
